Ali Bibi’s well house

Dana Lir Elani and Roniel Tomi, By direction of Arch. Amnon Bar Or and Arch. Sergio Lerman
The well house stands on the historic road to Gaza. The palace was used as the residence of the family, known for its many contributions to the needs of the Muslim community in Jaffa. The building boasts an enclosed sun terrace facing the street. Until about a year ago, three more well houses stood next to the building, which were demolished to level the area in front of Tel Aviv-Yafo College.
Today, the building is renovated and serves as the Arab Democratic School of Jaffa.
